Chocolate Protein Cookies

These chocolate cookies are for the true chocolate lovers out there. Made with chocolate protein powder, they’re intensely chocolaty and irresistibly fudgy. Chocolate Protein Cookies

  • 50g Protein

Ingredients

  • 225 grams of softened butter
  • 12 cup caster or coconut sugar
  • 1 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups flour
  • 34 teaspoon baking powder
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 2 scoops ISO100 Gourmet Chocolate

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until creamy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, and beat until completely combined.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and 2 scoops of ISO100 Gourmet Chocolate.
  5. Start mixing slowly, then beat until the flour is incorporated – it will be clumpy.
  6. Dust the work surface with flour, and scrape the dough out of the bowl. Pat together then cut in half, then shape into 2 discs.
  7. Roll out to 18 sprinkling with flour under and over the dough so it doesn’t stick.
  8. Use festive cookie cutters to press out shapes and use a knife or spatula to transfer shapes to prepared baking sheets.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes, until the surface is pale golden and the edges are just beginning to turn light golden.
