Protein Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Cups flour Of Choice
- 2 Scoops Of Iso100 Gourmet Vanilla
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¾ Teaspoon Baking Powder
- Salt To Taste
- ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups mashed Overripe Banana
- ½ Cup Yogurt
- ½ Cup Honey
- ⅓ Cup Oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla Extract
Directions
- Grease a 9×5 loaf pan, and line the bottom with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Alongside this, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, stir all ingredients together until well combined. Ensure the batter is smooth and evenly mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- After baking, turn the oven off, but do not open the door even a crack. Leave the protein banana bread in the closed oven for an additional five minutes. This helps to ensure the bread finishes cooking evenly and prevents it from collapsing.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let the banana bread cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
