Vanilla Mango Custard
This Mango Custard is a delightful, creamy dessert that perfectly balances the tropical sweetness of ripe mangoes with a smooth, vanilla-infused custard. The addition of ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla whey protein powder not only enhances the flavor but also adds a healthy protein boost.
Vanilla Mango Custard
Ingredients
- 1 cup ripe mango, pureed
- 1 cup ripe mango, finely chopped
- 2 cups of milk
- ¼ cup of Stevia or to taste
- 2 tablespoons of cornflour
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 scoops of ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla protein powder
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix the cornflour and 2 scoops of ISO100 protein powder with a little milk until smooth.
- In a saucepan, combine the milk and Stevia. Heat until it comes to a boil. Gradually add the cornflour-protein mixture to the boiling milk, whisking continuously until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool down and then you need to stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the mango purée and finely chopped mangoes, mixing well.
- Pour the mixture into small bowls and top with extra mango pieces. All you have to do now is chill this in the refrigerator for a few hours and serve cold.
