Egg-Less Eggnog
Christmas recipes are often associated with rich ingredients like heavy cream, raw eggs, and high amounts of sugar, which can make traditional eggnog calorie-dense and difficult to digest. This egg-less eggnog offers a lighter alternative while maintaining the classic creamy texture and warm, spiced flavour expected from a holiday drink.
ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla forms the base of the recipe, providing fast-absorbing whey isolate protein that blends smoothly with milk to create thickness and creaminess without the need for eggs or added cream. Nutmeg and cinnamon deliver the characteristic holiday spice profile, adding depth of flavour without relying on excess sugar. Vanilla extract enhances the overall richness, while optional sweeteners allow the sweetness level to be adjusted according to preference.
The recipe comes together quickly in a blender, producing a smooth and frothy consistency. It can be served chilled or lightly spiced and finished with a simple garnish of nutmeg or cinnamon for a traditional presentation.
With approximately 30g of protein, balanced carbohydrates, and moderate fats, this egg-less eggnog fits well within a macro-conscious diet while still offering a familiar seasonal flavour profile. It’s a practical, protein-forward take on a classic holiday beverage.
