Nutmeg Christmas Protein Cookies

  • 25g Protein

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Soft butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 scoop Dymatize ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla™ protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar for topping
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg for topping

Directions

  1. Set it to 350°F / 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure your protein cookies come out perfectly.
  2. Combine all-purpose flour, ground nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and 1 scoop of Dymatize ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla™ protein powder in a small bowl. Mixing these ingredients will give your protein cookies a soft, flavorful base with an added protein boost.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the soft butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is well combined. This will create a smooth, creamy batter ready for the dry ingredients.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully incorporated. The dough will be thick and slightly sticky, but don’t worry – it’s perfect for scooping!
  5. Use a teaspoon to scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave some space between the scoops as the protein cookies will spread slightly while baking.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies for 8 – 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with ground nutmeg. While the nutmeg Christmas cookies are still warm, sprinkle this sweet, spicy topping over them for an extra festive touch.

These nutmeg Christmas cookies are the perfect way to satisfy your holiday cravings while keeping your nutrition in check. With the added benefits of Dymatize ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla™, you can enjoy a delicious, protein-packed treat that’s as festive as it is nourishing. This protein powder recipe combines the season's warmth with the fuel your body needs, making it the perfect addition to your holiday celebrations.
